Overview

An environmental solidification pit technician works on-site to convert liquid and semi-liquid waste into a safe, solid mass for disposal. This specialized role operates heavy equipment and handles hazardous materials, following strict safety and environmental regulations. The specific title for this position can vary depending on the project.

 

FULL BENEFITS after 30 days working full time

PAY $20/hr +

Responsibilities

Mixing liquid waste with a compound to stabilize and solidify for proper disposal

tote and drum recycling

adhering to strict safety standards

Qualifications

valid driver's license

hazardous waste knowledge, RCRA, 40 hr HAZWOPER certs helpful

ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions in a dusty environment

lifting, bending, climbing, working on uneven surfaces

ability to operate excavator is helpful

attention to detail

strong communication skills

safety compliance is a MUST in all of our positions

GED or HS Diploma
