Overview

Seeking one or more certified wastewater treatment plant operators preferably located or willing to commute daily to the Greensboro, NC area.

Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of physical-chemical systems at the centralized wastewater treatment facility in Browns Summit, NC. Weekend overtime may be required.

2nd Shift - Hour 12 pm - 10 pm.

 

MON-FRI

 

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS.. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AND BE AWAY FROM HOME FOR PERIODS OF TIME IF NEEDED.

 

Salary - $85,000- $95,000 

based on 55 + hours a week

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain daily logs and operational records of activities performed
  • Monitor treatment systems during operation and cleaning
  • Take samples to submit to lab for analysis
  • Perform and document routine safety and maintenance checks
  • Assist with checking-in and processing trucks
  • Assist with offloading trucks

Qualifications

 

  • Must be on-site for 10-hour  shifts 5 days/week.

  • Will require weekend work.

  • May require paid travel to other facilities. 

  • Shamrock encourages and assists operators in obtaining and maintaining wastewater licenses.
