Overview

                                                                                              MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

 

Seeking one or more certified wastewater treatment plant operators preferably located or willing to commute daily to the Greensboro, NC area.

Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of physical-chemical systems at the centralized wastewater treatment facility in Browns Summit, NC.

Weekend overtime may be required.

3rd  Shift 

 

MON-FRI

 

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS.

 

Must be available to work at other locations.

Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure effective treatment and pumping of the water supply. 

  • Make adjustments to the treatment process or pumping, as required, in compliance with all rules, regulations and the facility's standard operating procedures.  

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive operation and maintenance records.
  • Collect samples and perform routine physical and chemical analyses on water.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and assists the maintenance staff, as necessary, with major or unusual maintenance tasks.
  • Work with Lab Chemist to assist and provide technical knowledge through observing chemical, physical and biological properties
  • Work independently at client facilities.

Qualifications

 

  • Must be on-site for 10-hour  shifts 5 days/week.

  • Will require weekend work.

  • May require paid travel to other facilities. 

  • Shamrock encourages and assists operators in obtaining and maintaining wastewater licenses.
