Water Treatment Plant Manager, Lakeland, Florida

• Understand water treatment and the processes including blending, chemicals, etc. 
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the plant. Including monitoring operations, costs closely. When I can't be in the plant, the team often takes shortcuts, which affects cost control. 
• Ensure daily completion of paperwork and assist with inputting as needed; computer skills are required.
• Maintain plant equipment and supplies. Order parts, replacements, and chemicals when needed.
• Oversee the schedules for the Lakeland and Tampa plants. Ensure that positions are adequately filled during vacations.
• Cover the lab when needed. 
• Make sure Safety is being implemented on a regular basis
• Ensure the cleanliness of the plant by regularly pumping out containments and performing daily cleaning tasks.
• Work closely with dispatch. 
• Inputting approvals. Have knowledge chemical properties. 
• Support and double checks that tasks are completed. This is important with the upcoming upgrades. 
• Help monitor conductivity. This will be extremely important when the well is going. Help preparing DMR reports when needed. 

4 yr degree in related field or applicable current certifications

4 yrs+ experience operating water treatment plant

Strong math skills

Strong communication skills

Valid driver's license
