Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Overall profit & loss responsibility for Business Unit.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Business Unit which includes, but is not limited to, personnel, site walks/meetings, project scoping, project execution, project sourcing, negotiations with customers, vendors and subcontractors, customer service and satisfaction, invoicing, and collections, etc.
  • Interview, hire and mentor all Business Unit employees
  • Actively participate in morning safety and operations meetings
  • Ensure that all Business Unit employees manage the appearance and maintenance of all assigned equipment/vehicles and communicate any needs/problems in a timely manner
  • Hold personnel accountable to company performance standards, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all work performed is in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Work closely with Sales Team to advance existing customer relations and develop new customers.
  • Review and approve proposals prior to submittal
  • Assist in ensuring projects are executed in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations contract requirements and company policies and procedures
  • Support the company’s 7/24/365 Emergency Response Service.
  • Continuously provide employees initial and ongoing safety training per Shamrock and Customer’s required training schedule
  • Maintain the highest ethical and safety standards at all time

 

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • To perform the duties of this job, the employee must have thorough knowledge of complex regulations specific to the environmental waste industry, management principles and best practices including analysis and evaluation and research methods and strategies.

  • Must be knowledgeable of current industrial safety practices and industrial hygiene and of hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations.

  • Essential competencies to perform this job include analytical, organizational and problem solving skills; must be detail oriented and possess technical aptitude.

  • Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment and select effective course of action while controlling resources and expenditures.

  • MS Office
