Overview

 

We are looking for an experienced vac truck driver-technician to operate our commercial fleet, with frequent stops/pick-ups. Willing to perform general manual labor tasks associated with HAZWOPER. Responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials to our locations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial motor vehicles such as Vacuum trucks, Tankers, Trailers, Box, and dump trailer
  • Ensure the truck remains in proper and safe working order.
  • Maintain daily e-logs, safety & inspection reports, expense reports, and project reports while ensuring they are properly completed.
  • Must be willing to perform manual labor-related tasks to support projects.
  • Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies, and requirements are met.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to perform work based on task conditions and hazards.
  • Maintain appropriate driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • USEPA Level B, C or D PPE will be required.

Qualifications

  • A CDL required.
  • Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement required.
  • NO manual transmission restriction.
  • MUST pass pre-employment requirements: DOT physical including drug & alcohol screening, and background check.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to lift 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis, but not limited to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, etc.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Availability and Willingness to work some weekends and after-regular hours Emergency Response Calls (rotation).
  • Disciplined, dependable, and with good stress management skills.
