Responsibilities

  • This is physically active role that is in the field on customer sites and safety is paramount.
  • Tasks associated with waste clean-up .
  • This is a physically demanding job which includes lifting and pulling heavy objects.
  • Must be able to wear a tight-fitting, negative-pressure respirator and occlusive chemical protective clothing and work in confined spaces frequently.
  • Work at elevations up to 18ft that can include on top of trucks, scaffolding, ladders, safety harness required/
  • Work in confined spaces inside of tanks and various othere containers .
  • Perform manual labor in extreme heat or cold.  
  • Work in dusty, noisy conditions and strong-smelling environments.  
  • Identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of contaminated materials  
  • May operate earth-moving equipment, trucks, manual and power hand tools, shovels, etc.  
  • Must be adaptable to the workflow and work well on a team and work safely. 
  • Practice Companies and OSHA safety rules and regulations  
  • Periodic or frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals with designated PPE   
  • Must have the ability to work beyond 8 hour work day and up to 12-24 hrs if it is a emergency response . Travel may be needed.
  • Requires working on uneven work surfaces frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights including bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling drums, totes, and containers, and handling of tank truck hoses 50-75 lbs.

Qualifications

 

  • Team Oriented 
  • Valid driver’s license  
  • Frequently lift 50-75 pounds.
  • Periodic/frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals with designated personal protective equipment 
  • Must be willing and able to work 55 hours or more per week based on department needs. 
  • Must have valid Driver's License 
    • Forklift Certified desired 
    • Must be able to pass the required DOT Drug Screen. 
    • Must be willing to travel overnight if needed. 
    • Must be willing to work on weekend days when needed. 
    • Must be willing and able to work for consecutive weeks based on the department needs 

 

  • $23 hourly plus overtime based on 45- 55 hrs a week
