Overview
We are adding 2 Regional Account Managers at our Oklahoma City location!
Responsibilities
Implement company’s account-based sales program to develop new customers.
Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet sales budget goals.
Initiate, build, expand and maintain strong relationships with customer’s organization across multiple departments (senior management, environmental, maintenance, operation, risk managers, health & safety, purchasing, etc.) and locations.
Identify and secure strong working relationships with each account’s key decision makers.
Drive in-depth account development with new and existing customers through frequent proactive contact with accounts and active participation in professional associations.
Schedule, attend and facilitate sales calls, customer meetings, site walks etc.
Assist internal customer service representatives, estimating and operations team in the development of opportunities including scope of work, proposals, quotes, customer deliverables, etc.
Focus primarily on new accounts development while cultivating and growing relationships with existing accounts.
Provide weekly and monthly mandated reports.
Facilitate and provide superior external and internal customer service.
Achieve annual targeted sales goals.
Qualifications
A track record of performance that demonstrates a strong understanding of the environmental services industry and in-depth customer relationships.
A technical, operations or project management background in the environmental services industry prior to transitioning to business development is required.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation and computer skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
Aptitude for understanding and applying waste regulations to facilitate development of customer focused solutions.
Self- starter with ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated industry.
Education & Experience:
5 years of business development experience in in Oklahoma for the environmental industry, roll off, wastewater treatment or industrial services is required
A Bachelor of Sciences Degree is preferred. In Lieu of degree, 10+ years of proven related industry experience is required.
