Overview

 

Responsible for the treatment process with our company's Waste-Water management. Ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations and safety requirements. Position requires working on uneven surfaces, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of various sizes, shapes, and weights, puling drums, totes, and containers, and handling of tank truck hoses.

  • Waste-Water plant experience 
  • Chemistry background
  • Experience with tanks and pumps required
  • Flexibility for overtime
  • May be required to work some weekends during peak season
  • Must be adaptable and hands-on with the workflow
  • Team oriented

Responsibilities

  • Must have the ability to wear a tight-fitting, negative-pressure respirator and occlusive chemical protective clothing.
  • Operating equipment inside the plant
  • Perform waste-water treatment process, management, and associated functions
  • Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks associated with industrial and commercial waste-water management operations
  • Practice companies and OSHA safety rules and regulations
  • Always maintain the highest ethical and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • chemistry background
  • Available to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • Pass background check, DOT physical and drug screening
  • May occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and frequently lift up to 40-50 pounds
  • Frequently climbs ladders, stairs, etc.
  • May use hand and power tools, shovel, squeegee, water hose with possible exposure to slight noise and vibration
  • Periodic and frequent exposure to chemicals…person protective equipment will be provided
  • Exposure to elements including heat and cold stress, nuisance dust conditions, and woodland area
  • Must be willing to travel overnight on rare circumstances
  • Average work schedule is approximately 40hrs - 50hrs per week.
