The Heavy Equipment Mechanic inspects repairs and adjusts diesel power units, hydraulic systems, injection valves and systems, mold boards, and scarifies on road grade, Experience with hydraulic pumps, final drives, transmissions, track replacement, idler rebuilds, undercarriage repair, pins and bushings, etc..
Must have own tools
complete reports and forms
some overnight travel may be required
welding a PLUS!
clear, valid driver's license
must have own tools
5 yrs experience on heavy equipment
strong communication skills
